Telling everyone to shut the fuck up is one thing. I think having so remedial a set of communication skills that you, having a position as dispensible as “intern”, tell a person you don’t know to suck your dick and balls in public is quite another. You can say huff my whole anus when you’re a manager, and they need you around.
I hope in the future we do away with this nonsense. If it’s fine for one person to say and do then it’s fine for everyone.
The truth is any job can be done by someone else. We choose to value certain people more because of their position in an arbitrary hierarchy we made up and then are shocked when such a system creates outcomes we don’t like.
They weren’t like, earnestly telling everyone to shut the fuck up. You know that, right?
I think understanding context, and intention, are also communication skills. This is clearly just someone who is excited about their new job, expressing it in a way that they think is fun and/or funny. Who fucking cares, like seriously.
If I recall (don’t really have any interest in looking), they only reacted that way after that (at the time, seemingly random) old dude came in with a one word reply of “language” like he’s that person’s fucking parent or something. Maybe don’t condescend (to people you don’t even know) and speak to people like children?
I would have been annoyed as well. They were just trying to enjoy themselves while telling the world the news, and some fucking dude they didn’t even know comes in and says “language” like a fucking grade school teacher? Nah, go fuck yourself old man.
Or we can be okay with saying fuck when we’re the oldest generation and not police the language of people younger than us.
I don’t think saying “fuck” was the problem here.
Then think again.
Suck my dick and balls

That should be way worse. If somewhere it’s not, it’s a sign of organizational failure.
A manager telling upper management to huff their whole anus is a sign of organizational failure?

They said that was ok. They saw a problem only in the suck your dick part.
