            I can try to look some stuff up but it’s mostly been on charity streams that big fnaf YouTubers would run, he would show up and donate thousands to things like the Trevor project.

            Here is a video from probably the biggest YouTuber that helped fnaf take off talking about it back when it came out and discussing why he decided to still engage with fnaf content despite the fact that Scott was a trumper if you’re curious.

            My basic opinion is that he’s not one of the Nazi ones, just one of the really stupid and uninformed ones that bought into the dumb bullshit. And maybe a little bit of rich person syndrome added on top since he got big with the franchise.

              that’s fair enough for me. I definitely have more compassion for people who are just dense and not actually malicious. and the fact that he wasn’t making those donations super ostentatiously where I could easily find it helps his case a little.

              but then again fnaf was never anything to me other than an interesting cultural artifact. maybe somebody closer to it would have stronger feelings than me.

              notch Minecraft comes to mind. I think the guy who made Ori and the Blind Forest is too. David Cage from quantic dream, but that’s not exactly indie. The guy who made Braid. The developer of Factorio is some kind of horrorcow. The Kingdom Come guy is a chud

                Notch was actually pretty progressive while developing Minecraft, becoming a billionaire completely nuked him. I’m not sure anyone knows exactly why, but reports have been made that he became extremely lonely
