    I’m into girls and still don’t get guys lusting over them. Like yeah, that girl walking over there is really hot but I don’t need to stare at her or call something at her or comment about it to others. Plus I think it’s disrespectful.

      Predator-prey model. Is still very normalized that men seek out and approach their partners, though it’s less agressive than previous generations. What you describe is pretty close to ‘The Male Gaze’, which is arguably a vestigial social behavior from when it was still normalized for guys to literally stalk potential partners.

      The straights have not been Ok for a long while.

        I think it already is and has been for a while, though I agree that it’s not really great because it puts people down for being straight and doesn’t address the real issue, which is people being bigoted and queerphobic. Not people being straight.
