Being lonely is awesome. Having no one making demands on you, nobody whose emotions you need to be aware of, nobody who moves your stuff. So much more freedom.
Hmm…there is difference between being lonely and alone. Alone is pretty much what you described.
In any case, I agree about having freedom. My friends and family have different taste, or just boring and less adventurous, or became jaded with life to do anything. And as someone with anendophasia, I like to take my time to explore and absorb my surroundings. I can’t exactly do that with someone who could be impatient and cannot appreciate what I see.
