the right img also makes me think of mystical magic lands, but more as in a real-life scenario, while the left gives me these more dreamy vibes. and I generally prefer vague, dreamy but also comf and exciting worlds over explicite and rule based ones…

This is kinda canon in my rpg world? In general, the types of creatures branched off into all kinds of different beings. Some evolved to be more humanoid. There is probably at least one descendant of a dragon doing exactly this.
