It has been so much less of a time suck for me to switch to Linux and actually start to understand my computer than it was to figure out ways to install a licensed version of windows pro with a local account, block all Microsoft IPs I could find, modify registry keys, and debloat windows only to have it update itself anyway and undo everything.

I guess it’s valid for someone to want to complain and just vent. But it’s just as valid for someone to propose a solution that worked for them to the exact same problem.
