Here’s the thing about Labour: It used to be a left wing party. That all changed between 1979 and 1997 as it shifted to become the party of Tony Blair and now it’s basically the Tories. The Tories too have shifted right and during the last Tory Admin, Labour shifted right to get more voters from the Tories while the Conservatives shifted right to take more votes from Reform.
