Buy only American. Get a bunch of land and live smack in the center of it never seeing the outside world again. These are options for you. You don’t like any particlar group of people you can just be by yourself!

Now I recommend if you truly never want to see anything that ever upsets you again, TURN OFF YOUR FUCKING PHONE AND GO AWAY.

Not only Austin, but Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, and even Dallas are solidly blue

Sure. Just make sure there’s a gate for marginalized communities who are trying to get out.

I have a lot of trans Texas friends, few of us have any decent options to leave. A fun fact: Texas ranks 2nd when it comes to % of trans people. Yet we have no voice, and a big part of that is thanks to how fucked the Texas voting districts are. That’s why a trans person in Dallas can be decently safe, but a gay person in Tyler will get their knee kicked in by a neo-nazi in broad daylight (this actually happened to someone I know, they have to walk with a cane now and they aren’t even 21); yet cities barely end up with any blue politicians at a state or federal level.

If any of you other states are willing to accept and help employ a Texan immigrant, I could really get behind this. I work in the tech sector and I’m a Texas 5 or 6, or a 1 anywhere that requires a degree.

Not to be picky, but please not Oklahoma, Florida, or Mississippi. Those seem like lateral moves.

And the ever important island of Austin, that’s still somehow part of the US yet completely isolated within hostile territory.

I do not know that this post makes a coherent point despite me knowing what point it’s wanting to make.
