So I have keratitis in eye since December '24 due to a bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus). I was put on a antibiotic+steroid topical medication (moxifloaxcin+dexamethasone eye drops). Doc said I would have take it for nearly a year. I already knew steroid eye drops cause cataract, glaucoma and fungal infection. Doc agreed on it too. On each visit I pressed on about stopping the steroid medication as I was shit scared about glaucoma. Doc was hesitant at first but eventually agreed to tapering and stopping the steroid medication fully. Doc said scars would occur and just ignore it. It’s been 2½ months since I stopped steroids, fast forward to today- when I see my charging cable from a slight distance without glass it almost looks triple (white light looks scattered to me, my charging cable is white so it looks triple when seen from a distance, similar to scattering of light). Don’t know what I’m going to do now or what Doc will say when I visit them Monday. I’m immensely depressed to say the least Please post memes in the comments to make me laugh!
I saw Jurassic World : Rebirth in the theatres in 3D and OMG that 3D viewing made my keratitis even more worse temporarily. Images were more distorted and I was constantly adjusting my glasses most of the time during the movie. It made my viewing slightly un-enjoyable. It became so bad that it became extremely risky for me to drive back home. Vehicle headlights and lamp posts had big halos around it :(
It does not physically hurt for most of the time but sometimes I get a feeling of foreign particles in my eyes (like sand) when there’s none. This is due to keratitis. I also have worst vitreous floaters, mid sensorineural (SN) hearing loss, a mysterious un-diagnosed eye condition which makes me unable to see digital screens (such as PC, Laptop, Phone, Tablet and so on) and blue lights for months together accompanied with the worst fucking pain ever (This seems to trigger when I abuse my screentime in the night and watch something on my phone for a prolonged time). Sometimes I feel I’ll become a dead man walking one day by losing my most crucial senses. I wrote a bigger reply but my VPN fucking disconnected. Alright rant out. Time to see some memes to cool down depression. Thanks for listening!

I’m so sorry for you :(
Does it hurt or do you only have the affected vision?
