The point I understood was that our individual changes aren’t going to be significant because the companies contribute a lot to climate change. And we should focus on making them change their policies and processes to actually do something about climate change.

hmmm i actulli rembr what u mean.

in thad video they said “many peeps say ‘oh nuu bettr buy organic food’ bt lik… the companies r the ones doing the emissions. so if they change - everything changes!” which i kinda support.

they didn say “yea we cn be lazy n nt do stuff”, they said that individuals rlli cnt help with situation… which is kinda sadly tru. its big evl companies which cn ;(

Nope, they informed in what I thought was a pretty clear way that the way to action is to contact your local representative and get involved.

Not exactly a quick way to change things. We should all be voting green and making sure politicians know we care about this issue, but the only real way to deal with this is direct action and/or a political revolution. That said, I did rewatch them all and they were less bad than I remembered.

It’s a rational conclusion to do that. What you are prescribing is exactly the same. Political action and not personal sacrifices. Now, I still do that because I love the planet but I wish I fought more actively politically than voting and opinionating
