  • I feel like this is one of those things where, even though there is a likelihood that you are right, you don’t actually know that you are correct.

    People are weird.

People are occasionally evil, especially towards weird people.

There’s an entire possibility that atheists have stoned somebody to death, and since you’re the one making the claim, I feel like you should be the one to scour every single instance of death in all of human history to verify your claim.

  • I’ve occasionally stumbled across those videos on YouTube where people will read a manga or watch an anime and then tell you what happened in the manga or anime.

These videos are like an hour long sum up of a 4-hour season for you.

BUT, they never tell you the name of the anime or manga for you to go and watch and read it for yourself.

I mean, if it makes you happy, do it. But for me, it’s a hard pass

  • Of course you are looking at outliers and I feel like you’re right to the point that outliers like that should have special assessments or breaks.

Where I live, the taxes are pretty high for real estate, but if you are a senior citizen, you can get a discount where your tax rate is locked in at the value that it was when you retired.

I also have some acquaintances who inherited a house and at the time houses were very cheap but they didn’t pay the taxes and they were super upset that they were going to lose their house because they didn’t pay the taxes.

So now they’re bunking up and living in apartments and Scattered because they didn’t want to drum up the two or three thousand dollars a year in real estate taxes that they had to pay to keep an entire house.

  • The problem is we don’t have a very good method to review our old patterns and make sure that they still hold up in the current meta.

This is how you get old fucks like the political leaders of the United States reacting to emails as if they were gigantic scandals when reality has moved far beyond that.
