        Yeah, that’s how the entire entertainment business works, great observation, but that was never the point of contention here.

          I don’t feel morally superior to him. I feel morally superior to the people that keep on elevating him to some godlike status.

            Caring about someone dying is not the same as elevating them to godhood. People on tv are still real people, and it’s weird that you are so adamant about playing down the value of those lives.

              The people on television are absolutely not real people. As soon they get any form of celebrity status, it elevates them to what we get here and now… people randomly defending a commercial salesman while they’re in some parasocial crisis
