    Yes. When Demeter is hungry for human sacrifice, someone is always swimming in the grain.

    In modern days, She has the option to detonate a flour silo and snack on the nearby workhands.

    ETA From Wikipedia:

    At some grain-handling facilities, employees “walk down the grain” on top of it to expedite the flow of grain from the top when it is being allowed to flow out the bottom.

    That is totally a sacrifice lottery.

      Don’t forget the dust, I cleaned a near empty silo, and had a lung infection for about 2 months.

    When I was a kid, my siblings and I used to get into grain bins and go “swimming” in the grain.

    Our parents warned us not to, but we thought it was more of a “It’s impolite” type warning vs. “YOU SHOULD NEVER DO THIS YOU COULD DIE HORRIBLY AND NO ONE CAN SAVE YOU!” so we ignored them.

    I still get chills thinking about it.
