I worked for a company that did their dates multiple ways and it was fucking impossible to know what date was what. It was super frustrating. I’d prefer this, but if you don’t, at least keep it consistent once you start.

I used to be really big into self help books, and I do think they did help positively shape me in some instances. But I really became disillusioned with them after I continued to cycle.
Turns out I had untreated ADHD, major depressive disorder, and I literally have to work harder than neurotypicals to get anything done.
Is “success” impossible? Nope. But fucking hell I’d need one insane pipeline to get there.
This isn’t entirely true. I got Zelda TOTK for $40 on release. Kind of.
I bought Costco Nintendo gift cards which saves you $20 (if I remember right) and then bought the combo pack deal which included TOTK. It came out to getting every game for $40 each. Of course, the physical copy is a whole different story.
I haven’t pirated a game in over a decade, but…
A bit of an exaggeration. Your wallet speaks, sure. But I haven’t been to a lot of places in years, some even for decades and they’re still doing just fine. I didn’t buy any Nintendo console from the NES until I got a Wii paying half with a friend.
I do for projects. I design board games and video games. I am unfortunately not an artist so I gotta go out and buy it. It really sucks now, because unless it’s obvious I might not know. Had a person send me stupidly obvious AI art and I tore into them and got a refund. AI art is a scam as far as I’m concerned.
Same. But I didn’t do it because of a different indoctrination, not because I understood anything special.
I get your argument, but look at Westworld. It started amazingly but stepped away from what it was and it definitely lost itself. Surely they had a plan as well.
That said, I don’t quite agree Severance is losing itself. The finale firmly sets the path forward.
We had a total shit bag in my unit and while we got to go do work, he was jumping out of a Black Hawk. When I was being processed out with a medical discharge, my life became so chill as they sent me to do the tasks they didn’t want to send their capable people onto. My 8-10 hour days turned into 3-4 hours. If I wasn’t being processed out, someone like that guy would have been doing it instead.
The military really does encourage being a shitbag.
Also, the one with the red hat is probably fine with the billionaires.
Although, I’m not sure how he’s going to swing it in the opposite direction when no one trusts he isn’t going to flip-flop just days later.
They flipped month and day. If it was the year, you’re right.
