  • Hey there! If you don’t mind the unsolicited advice, check out the spoiler.

    unsolicited advice here

I knew a girl that would nearly pass out with needles. I went with her to get her flu shot, just as moral support. Between having someone to comfort her, and being able to distract herself with me there, she was able to get her shot without any complications!

I’ve never used it, but they might also have some “butterfly needles” that supposedly are smaller.

Something to consider if you want to try to pursue treatment.

Also, I have gotten quite a few needles for various reasons. (I have a lot of health problems.) Blood donations were pretty much the worst. Vaccinations didn’t hurt until the later soreness. IVs aren’t great. But giving blood for a test? I think those needles aren’t so bad. The little pinch from that is the easiest of all the options I’ve had.

    Good luck!

  • The only truly “good” consumption is to only use local products ethically produced from members of your community. The further you get from that, the more opportunities for the transaction to stray from “not good.”

It is very difficult or impossible to be 100% good.

When I consider this, my main concerns are “do I want to give money to this company?” and “is there a morally better alternative that meets my needs, including going without?”

Once you answer those questions for yourself, you should have a better idea if you want to continue doing business with them.
