1 month agoTBH, Ubuntu used to be the best option for newbies to get their feet wet. Nowadays, it’s just a meh distro. Not enough to say abandon ship, but there are definitely better choices out there.

No, it’s not just you. Mint and Ubuntu get thrown around a lot by people recommending them to new users, and they’re fine, but they are a bit dated.
