It’s possible he’d rattle off not the names, but parts of lyric, if he’s been exposed to them. When he was very young my son would request “boulevard” when we got into the car for a trip, since we’d regularly listen to Green Day.

“A computer made this” is so dumbed down from what is going on that it’s wrong. The actual process of generating images from noise is a very fascinating one and still seems like magic to me, but it is far from the computer creating something from nothing. Then again, to get metaphysical, humans who do artwork get their spark of creation somewhere from something they’ve experienced. Go too deep and it becomes a Matrix “what is real” discussion.

They can be, but verifying everything is close to factual is hard to do. I do think that what makes the friendship is key - if it’s something that’s enjoyed online, then odds are you aren’t going to be completely compatible IRL with other things, maybe even most things past the one thing you share. If it’s more general things, then the odds go up a bit, but you still don’t know the “vibe” the person gives off in reality, so there could be traits that you’re better off not knowing about. However, I met my wife online (back before “real” internet on Quantum Link, a national BBS for C-64) and we’re still compatible, so it can happen. Granted, it was a lot different then, but there were fakes and scammers then too.

It’s to honor the sacrifice made. Although in the end it wasn’t really a sacrifice, not even the prophesied three full days. Just a long weekend with the payoff being returned to godhood. What the writers should have done is made it so Jesus was still in hell being tortured for our sins until the end days. That would be more of a plotline to suggest a sacrifice.

The paper trail of blood citizenship would be a lot easier to lose.

Just tried. It will only presumably stop new messages, but I can refresh and the old sent one is still there as well as the user name that shows it’s blocked. Plus that wouldn’t be a great workaround for normal messages of people you want to talk to and just are cleaning house. I don’t know why the option isn’t there. I put something about it on the main Mbin page a while back. Maybe not many people actually use messages?
