My university forces us to use Microsoft products and I hate it.
The only good thing is that most MS products are available through web browser nowadays, but they have random quirks that make me bash my head against the desk.

Nothing seems better to upvote as a straight male than stuff that looks like dicks.

I don’t know. I use KDE on Debian on my desktop, but I have set up Linux Mint Cinnamon on family laptop and it runs and looks fine.

I am probably 1/2, but creating images in my mind is not something I do on a daily basis, which is probably why I lack creativity in certain areas. Also I had hard time remembering faces for most of my life, and only recently it get slightly better.
Also I’ve noticed that the more I think about how something looks like the less I am able to picture it in my head, sometimes even not being able to remember my crush’s face which is probably strange as fuck.
If you have a phone with Android, it already runs Linux.

I think a lot of people expect Linux to work like Windows, and that’s why they go back to Windows, even if some stuff is easier on Linux.
Many of us probably remember times when we tried to download random applications through a web browser, because that’s what Windows expects you to do. People will try that, and be confused, why stuff breaks or not work at all.

I have used btrfs exactly once because it was the default on openSUSE, and the filesystem eventually became corrupted and unrecoverable.

But why call it void if there’s no void at all? Or nothingness. There’s only void and nothingness when universe ends (according to facts about our universe). Yet people still think about it as a state of our consciousness, when there is no really any ‘state’ after we die. It’s like NULL vs UNDEFINED or uninitialized variable in programming, or at least I see this that way.

How exactly? I don’t see it.

Nothingless void is as believable as afterlife. From scientific point of view neither make sense, it’s like we’re giving ourseleves some metaphysical distinctiveness from the rest of universe but are merely physical bodies inside of it according to our scientific knowledge. And according to that we precisely know what’s after death: we rot in grave, and that’s it. But that answer is not satisfying for us, because what we call our consciousness will stop existing at some point, and we try to find logical state of us, when there is no longer us. I don’t really think it’s possible to describe how’s that like at all.
One time I was drunk enough that I’d do that if I saw a incoming tram.
That said, after many self harm actions, depressive thoughts and other stupid shit I’ve done while drunk, I decided to not drink more than 2 beer in a single day, lol.
Interesting. In Polish kark means the back part of the neck, and the neck itself is szyja.
I sometimes overshare my depressing thoughts, with random people. I probably should stop doing that, lol.
Exactly. Why wear provocative clothes and make a bug fuss about men staring at you. Fuckin’ women with their stupid logic.
At least here in Poland, I don’t see women complaining about this shit, nor do they really care if you check them out. It’s probably just a western culture thing.
People still use DuoLingo? Why not learn a language properly?

It is, but most modern software doesn’t work at all in Wine. I have 2 apps (Paint.net, and SketchUp Make 2017) which don’t have any real alternatives (or they suck) for Linux and they don’t work in Wine.
As a long-term support release male, I also can’t relate.
There’s a reason why modern browsers have multiple processes. Each tab and extension is sandboxed for stability and security reasons. There are also memory mechanisms that free up memory when other non-browser processes need it, but I am not an operating system expert/engineer so I am unable to explain it in details. Google Gemini it up.
Also Firefox tends to use similar amount of RAM as Chrome, and it’s silly that it’s only Chrome is being making fun of for that.
Of course it doesn’t meant that modern web is fucking shit, but you cannot only blame modern browsers for that. It’s just mostly bloated JavaScript bullshit.
By the way, I wish there was some alternative to modern Web which works like basic HTML + CSS, maybe even without using two languages for two different things (website content and stylesheet). If we had this, we could even have lightweight Markdown/WikiText/You_name_it viewer if exported to that format on the fly (by an app not JS).
But… being drunk is the only time when I am social…
