  • Pretty crazy that, in their minds, in order to be considered conservative you need to support Trump when he’s very far from a traditional conservative… And what space does it leaves for conservatives of other countries? It’s it like/r/news or /r/politics that “actually it’s US specific around here” and the rest of the world needs /r/worldconservatives or something? (Which is also an issue on Lemmy by the way!)

What the image mentions was true for a few decades and for a minority of humans only. Home ownership is still at a very high level compared to what it was even 100 years ago. Hell, you should know that if you’re from the UK, people used to live in towns that were developed and owned by the factory owners, that’s how they managed to move people from rural regions to the city so quickly, outside of that, housing in the city was no better than the slums we see all over the world these days.

  • Our 10lbs dog can come on 25km walks/hikes with us and wants to continue so a larger dog like that following humans at what isn’t running running speed for a dog that large? As long as water was available and temperature wasn’t too high, I would believe it…

I just did a web search and people do it with their dog, even smaller breeds…

  • Had a buff friend (but not even close to that) that had to reach for his seatbelt with his right hand because his biceps didn’t give him enough flexibility to reach for it above his shoulder with his left hand and sometimes he would need to pull on his right arm with his left hand to give himself enough reach…

It gets pretty ridiculous at some point…
