Aw, so no hamster?
Are you talking about 30cm traffic cones? Unfortunately I don’t ever see them used since they’re not allowed for any real work. The smallest I can try are 50cm, but that’s pretty big already.
That’s kinda what I pictured. I’ll have to try them one day!
Imma have to ask. Why are these talked about so badly?
I’ve never seen them in real life, so I have no idea if they actually taste bad.
The worse the pun, the better the food!
Dr. Who (2005) S01E02, to be exact.
And JD Vance.
Door-Kun!
I see where the confusion is.
“Brat” can also refer to adults.

4·1 month agoIt only limits you if you expect things to work exactly the same as with any other distro. If you spend some time reading up on how it expects you to solve different tasks, it doesn’t limit you for 99+% of scenarios.

4·1 month agoThe shitty news here is if you want a machine you’re doing software dev on you’re going to need to figure out the nvidia driver shit, which is a pain in the ass but if you’re a software developer you should be able to do it.
The dev-focused atomic Fedora variants solve all Nvidia issues for you, there’s no reason why you should trouble yourself with it.

Most progress isn’t made in sudden huge jumps, but small incremental improvements.
When pubsci articles promise a breakthrough, remember:
- it takes a long time to bring such research to market (think ~decade)
- most breakthroughs are only applicable to narrow niches or work under specific conditions
- real-life results will usually be worse than lab results
- startups have incentives to make their research appear as important as possible
But instead of waiting for huge breakthroughs, just look at the progress made in commercially available batteries. There have been many improvements in cost & charge density.
I mean… you know that you can buy batteries today, and they’re much better than the ones you could buy a decade ago?
What about a good sturgeon?
