I’d bet they did it because of pressure from customers.

He’s appeared in a few podcasts I listen to - he’s at the very least unbelievably polite in them.
In anything I’ve ever seen him in (as himself) he comes across as a very nice chap. I hope I’m never shown to be ill informed.
I used it decades ago (using the CLI installer for a Sid install I eventually fucked up beyond repair) and it was okay for a slightly tech savvy teenager, even then.
I suspect a lot of these issues are down to hardware compatibility more than anything else.
I mean, there’s a number of popular raw ground meat products that are safely produced (mettbrotchen, tartare, etc) - it’s a problem of quality control more often than not.
Ditto, I used it on my eepc 701 way back when. I miss that sort of computing experience!
Bunsenlabs is the successor to crunchbang.
Crunchbang was amazing, but it’s sadly no more. Development stopped on it some time in 2015 I think.
Bunsenlabs is a direct successor to it, and should be good on OP’s system.
Ironically the people that will post the former online will all live in the latter.
