It was a setup. The woman is the girlfriend of a reform party member. Farage has form for this sort of publicity stunt.

Farage is all anyone is talking about at the moment, the stunt seems to have worked.

According to the BBC a woman’s been charged, so it seems like the initial skepticism was misplaced.
